Super Bowl Pick!

Another crazy pick by Maury, I’m going to have to go with the Giants to win the Super Bowl!  Even though I’m a Jets fan, growing up in New York I have to go with our own, especially since they’re playing a team from Boston! YUCK!

Hopefully the Patriot won’t videotape anything and ruin my prediction lol.

Final Score:  Giants 24, Patriots 21 – you heard it here first.

Let’s Go METS!

Wow, looks like there is actually something to look forward to in 2008 as far as my New York Mets goes.

Looks like the top pitcher in the game, Johan Santana, is headed to the  Mets pitching staff.  It’s a good thing, because last year was a total waste entering the season relying on an aging pitching staff.

The Mets did have to give up four prospects, including Carlos Gomez and Phil Humber, but they need to think about winning this year, and that’s what this trade does.

Bottom line, the NY Mets Santana deal is a great one, and I’m hoping to be watching them in the World Series this year!

My Embarrassing Moment

Man, last night was embarrassing!

I’m in a personal coaching class with a top affiliate marketer that I paid a pretty penny for.  There’s only like 6 of us, but we do like 4 hour intensive webinar training once to twice a week.

Anyway, on last night’s training he surprised us by presenting us with a project we had to complete in 15 minutes.   Basically we had to find a market, find a profitable niche in the market, discover the problems facing the niche of that market, find a product to solve that problem, and write an ad to promote that product to that niche.

Now this is something I can do in  an hour or so, but I don’t claim to be Speed Racer by any means.  Anyway, of course I got called upon first!  So I find the market and start to go through the process, but then realize what I was going to be selling wasn’t going to make enough money to be worth getting into.  By the time I realized I had to switch gears and look for something else, it was too late!  Time ran out on me.  Oh well, better luck next time.

Needless to say, it’s good to be challenged like that every now and then to keep you on your toes.  I’ll finish in 10 minutes next time!!

Already January 3rd, so I know you’re well over the hang over or remains of the effects of whatever you took part in on New Year’s Eve!

Hopefully you’ve started towards working towards you goals with full intensity!

So far this year, I’ve set up two other blogs for some affiliate marketing I’m doing, got my exercise program going, submitted a few videos, almost read a book, wrote a few articles and outsources a few more!  Have to stay focused, but glad to be on my way!

Your 2008 Success Plan Part 2: Focus and Finish

As you prepare to start the new year off right, it’s time to really narrow your focus and continue to take action steps toward your success.

What is your business? Are you creating your own product? Are you going to be an affiliate marketer? Promote a business opportunity? Whatever it is, hopefully you’ve chosen something that will be long lasting and of high quality.

While it’s of highest importance to educate yourself about the various marketing strategies, especially since the internet is changing constantly, it’s even more important that you put what you’re learning into practice. Focus on what you’re doing and do specific things every day. It might be helpful to make a list of things to do daily, and check them off as you complete them.

We’re in a wonderful time of sharing yourself and your knowledge, but you need to not only be on the receiving end, but also on the giving side. It’s great to watch YouTube videos, but even better if you have some people watching yours as well! This is the perfect time for real people like you to share yourselves and capitalize on this new era. Rightfully, the honest people in the business opportunity sector finally have a greater chance of make a fortune online than those simply making false promises of wealth. The world of Social Networking and “Web 2.0″ has allowed that.

Don’t be part of the noise. Step out, be heard, and you will have a prosperous 2008.
