Here’s a perfect example of why blogging is so much fun to me. I just stumbled upon a recent post on Jack Humphrey’s Friday Traffic Report Blog. On the bottom of his post, Jack lists my blog because of a recent post I wrote. Because I mentioned Social Power Linking as a highly quality membership site, I ended up on Jack’s incredibly high traffic blog.
What does this mean? Anytime someone views this page on his site, they may in turn visit my blog simply because it is listed there. I know this because I already see some traffic coming from there. Now I spent absolutely no money, but unless he decides to delete his post, I will always have a chance at getting traffic from his site, forever. Not only that, it also raises my page rank for being linked from such a high traffic site.
Now this is only the tip of the iceberg of how Web 2.0 traffic works. For those interested in blogging and getting massive traffic for free, I highly recommend using the techniques taught in Social Power Linking.

We jokingly call this trick “Pavlov’s Blog” because by rewarding people who link to us, they unwittingly find themselves linking to us more often than others.
What better reward than traffic? We send it as Christmas gifts to our top affiliates and associates just to say thanks.
Which I think is kind of funny since everyone else on the web is dying to get traffic for themselves and we just “power link” our traffic to other sites willingly.
When people pick up on this tactic there will be dozens of experts claiming they thought of it.
